ID bin besonders

2023

According to Freud's psychoanalytic theory, the ID is the primitive and instinctual part of the mind that contains sexual and aggressive drives and hidden memories. There is a lot of taboo when it comes to talking about mental illness. Ignorance and emotionally charged prejudice against people with mental illness is till today very present. It is often associated with negative words and judgments which tends to affect the personne in cause. A group of women (LOK participants),30-40 years old, shared their personal stories and explore their own ID by creating a series of short animated films together.

Itinerary of memory

Mai – July 2022

The project consists in tracing the itineraries of exiles engaged in the R.M.V.E.*. When the Second World War broke out, about fifty nationalities joined these regiments in order to protect the last remnants of a democracy. In a hybrid form, the workshop-meetings first take place virtually, then we explore Paris and its various places, museums and documents associated with the history of the volunteers. Mixing imagination and archival work, we end up with a visual reconstruction in the form of a collage of the universe of each foreign volunteer, exhibited in Paris at the François Truffaut library.

On its border lilies are growing

07. – 15. July 2019

2019 marks the year of the 150th anniversary of the Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan (1869-1923). Through his passion for storytelling Tumanyan has preserved and continued the transmission of Armenian ancestral and folk heritage. Until this day Tumanyan’s poems have lost none of their originality, their emotional charge, or their ability to stimulate reflection. “On its Border Lilies are growing” is an artistic and cultural coop between the Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum in Yerevan, NOAR and Aniki-Animiertes Kino. This project will create a cross-cultural dialogue by involving young people from Yerevan as well as national and international professional artists from different fields: animation, music and sound-design.
